This Independent won't be voting for "R’s"

As an Independent - listening to the many promises being flung about – for the first time in a long time, I can’t conscientiously vote for anyone on my ballot with an “R” in front of their name.

Many folks can’t afford a home of their own, let alone the property taxes or anything extra for, say, food and healthcare. Schools, roads, infrastructure all need money and attention that doesn’t seem to be coming.

While many problems stem from national priorities, often solutions are in the hands of state legislators.  All candidates promise to “fix it”, but it seems most of those elected on their promises last election and running again promising the same haven’t been particularly successful.

It seems candidates like Finley Warden, running to represent House Dist.13 as a MAGA Republican, want of lay all our problems at the feet of Democrats, who haven’t controlled anything in Helena for a while.  So, who has had power to improve our lives but hasn’t?

Our governor is Republican; Republicans control both the state house and senate. Why haven’t they made the changes they claim can’t be made unless they are elected?

Why elect people whose only qualification is to promise to lick the boots of their Republican bosses? Let’s elect qualified candidates demonstrating they listen locally and promise allegiance to constituents.

For House Dist. 13, my vote is for Dalton Bradford.  His opponent promises allegiance to the party, but I see no qualification on his resume that indicates he has any idea about solving real problems. Dalton is immensely qualified and knowledgeable about the issues we face and can deliver immediate and effective input toward tackling our multiplicity of problems and finding solutions.

Nationally, I am following the same logic! NO “R”s.
